Hello, I'm Darcel Spears.
I am an Energy Wellness Coach and Facilitator, specializing in energy sound medicine. Additionally, I am a coach for parents of children on the autism spectrum. I have a special place in my heart for these children and this is why. I was one of those kids to whom you might have to repeat a request to me several times, after being met with a blank stare. I now recognize it as my unique way of "feeling you out”. Although many labeled it as being slow, I later discovered that this sensitivity to another’s energy was my unique way of perceiving the world through my senses.
My journey took an unexpected turn when my child was diagnosed with autism. Autism also involves how a person uniquely perceives the world through their senses. The truth of this mortified me. "life is hard enough", I thought. "Now this"? Just like I was judged as a child, I was actually seeing his unique perception as a liability. My limited beliefs about what was possible for him, and me as his parent, kept me stressed and disconnected from myself. It took time for me to realize that these negative thoughts were hindering both me and my child from discovering the innate gifts that our unique perceptions afforded us.
Now, motivated to change, I intuitively understood that tapping into my healing energies would empower me to create the rich, peaceful life I desired. This realization led me to extensive studies in energy medicine, mindfulness, and Developmental Transformation Coaching. I became a graduate of the Institute of Woman-Centered Coaching, Training and Leadership. In addition, I am a Reiki Master, Reconnective Healing Practitioner, and Energy Sound Wellness Facilitator.
My great work involves establishing a safe, judgment-free zone for my clients to align with and activate their creative and healing frequencies, already present within them. This allows them the power to create the vision of the life they desire, whether it is greater peace, joy, abundant living, etc. This consciousness provides the fertile ground for them and their loved ones to grow into the powerful creators that they were always meant to be in relationship to themselves, each other, and their communities.
